Beloved Aunt, 97

Eleanor T. Malgeri, 97, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, March 9 from 8:45 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.  There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 11:00 a.m.  The interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair.

Eleanor was born in Newark, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield. She was employed as a Medical Secretary at Columbus Hospital, Newark for many years.  She later was employed as a secretary for Hoffman La Roche, Nutley for many years before retiring.  Eleanor was an active member of the September Club at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield.

She is survived by her beloved niece and nephews Mary Lee Sena, Robert Solimo and Jack Malgeri.  She is also survived by her many loving great-nieces and great-nephews.

Eleanor is predeceased by her parents Robert and Lena (nee Miranda) Malgeri, her brothers John and Theodore Malgeri, her sisters Diane Del Vecchia and Violet Solimo, and her nephews Frank Solimo, Jr. and Robert Malgeri.
