Beloved Father, Son, and Brother, 53

Mr. Darin Gibson, 53, of Clifton, NJ passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Hackensack University Medical Center.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, March 13 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.   There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley on Saturday, March 14 at 10:45 a.m.  The cremation will be held privately.

Darin was born in Bayshore, Long Island and grew up in Brentwood, New York before moving to New Jersey in 1987. 

After graduation from Henry Hudson High School in 1984, he attended and graduated from Pace University majoring in Business Management.  He began his career working as manager and district manager for Merry-Go-Round Enterprises from 1984 to 1994.

Darin is well known for his small chain of salons “Superior Sun”.  Since then he worked as General Manager for Black Jack Mulligan’s Pub in Garfield.

He is survived by his daughters Nicole and Christina, and their mother Patricia Henneberry Gibson; his mother Julia Gibson; his siblings Ralph and his wife Barbara, Barry and his wife Diane, and Julianne Gibson.  He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews  

Darin is predeceased by his father Ralph Newton Gibson.

He was well-known and loved by his family and friends.  He took great pride in his daughters, their interests and accomplishments.  We will greatly miss him and his keen sense of humor “Nice Right?”.
