Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, and Grandmother, 71

Mrs. Cynthia A. (nee Ganncorti) Mazza, 71, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.  There will be a memorial funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, October 10 at 7:30 p.m.  The memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of service.

Cynthia was born and raised in Newark, NJ.  She moved to Belleville in 1982 where she raised her family.  Cynthia was a 1969 graduate of our Lady of Good Counsel School in Newark.  She was employed by Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville as a Histology Tech for several years before retiring in 2009.  

Cynthia was a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a great cook, loved listening to Rock music, and was an avid Yankee fan.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years Timothy Mazza; her devoted daughters Nicole and Christina; her loving sister EllenVernotica and her husband Eddie; and her cherished granddaughters Lily and Harlow.

Cynthia is predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Virginia (nee Angelo) Ganncorti.
