Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother 76

Constance A. Trentacost (née Sauchelli), 76, of Wayne formerly of Belleville, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center Wayne. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue, on Wednesday, April 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, April 25, at 9:30 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley, at 10:30 a.m.  The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington. 

Constance was born in Newark, NJ, and resided in Belleville for many years before moving to Wayne 7 years ago. Constance was employed as a senior clerk for the Essex County Hall of records, Newark. Connie met the love of her life in 1967. She was a loving wife, they shared and lived a life filled with love and laughter. Connie and Joseph would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on May 24th.  

She loved her family and cherished very beautiful moments with treasured memories centered around her children especially her grandchildren, whom she adored and loved spending time with them. She will be missed dearly.

Connie is survived by her loving husband Joseph C. Trentacost; her devoted children her son Joesph V. Trentacost and his wife Marisa, her daughter, Dana M. Trentacoast; her dear brother John Sauchelli; her cherished grandchildren Joseph Jr., Vincent, Joelle, Gerard, Nicolette, Alexa. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents Cosmo and Marie (nee Scala) Sauchelli.
