Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Friend, 84

Mrs. Constance (nee Hollahan) Giardina, 84, of Wayne, NJ, formerly of Belleville, NJ and The Villages, FL, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains surrounded by her loving family.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, March 23 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, March 25 at 9:15 a.m.  There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 10:30 a.m.  The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.

Constance was born in Passaic, NJ.  She grew up in Belleville and resided there before moving to The Villages, Fl along with her husband Anthony Giardina in 2006.  In 2017 upon the passing of her beloved husband Anthony, she moved to Wayne, NJ where she resided with her daughter Toni Anne Thompson and her husband Robert and their children until her passing. 

Constance had many jobs throughout her career.  She worked at Walter Kidde Company in Belleville as a young women where she met her best friend for over 60 years, Sara Di Biasi.  Constance raised four children and worked babysitting, all while helping her husband at his place of business, the Ridge Fish Market.

She is survived by her loving son Carmin Giardina and his wife Floribeth Fallas Giardina and their children Italia and Alberto Villobos; her loving daughters June Giardina, Toni Anne Thompson and her husband Robert and their children Nicholas, Gabrielle and Robert, Jr.; and Jennifer Giardina; and her loving sister-in-law Carol Anne Svec and her husband Raymond. 

Constance is predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony Giardina, her parents Albert and Catherine (nee Fetherston) Hollahan, and her sister June Hollahan.
