Beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather and Uncle, 69

Mr. Charles G. Muschio, 69, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue, on Thursday, November 3 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, November 4 at 9:15 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at St. Lucy’s Church, 118 – 7th Avenue, Newark at 10:30 a.m.  The interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 712 Grove Street, Upper Montclair.

Mr. Muschio was born in Belleville, NJ and was a life-long resident.  He was an Essex County Corrections Officer for 19 years before retiring in 2011.  Mr. Muschio was a huge Elvis Presley and Lady Gaga fan, and an avid Oakland Raiders fan.  He loved spending time with his family, and his pride and joy were his two grandsons.

He is survived by his beloved children Kristin Muschio and her fiancé` Michael Armstrong, and Tiffany Muschio and her companion Robert Bikofsky; his loving siblings Geraldine Muschio, Antonia Gammaro, Thomas Muschio and his wife Debbi, and Rosario Muschio, Jr.; his cherished grandsons Jordan and Dante Armstrong; his dear niece and nephew Nicole and Christopher Gammaro; his sister-in-law Eileen Notte, and also his loving former wife of 22 years Doreen (nee Notte) Muschio. 

Mr. Muschio is predeceased by his parents Rosario "Sam Spade" and Mildred (nee Granese) Muchio and his brothers-in-law Anthony “Blackie” Gammaro and Gary Notte.
