Beloved Mother, Sister and Grandmother, 73

Mrs. Carol (nee Zippo) Quimby, 73, of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, November 25 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The cremation will be held privately.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 23 Hunt Place, Nutley on Saturday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m.

Carol was born in Newark, NJ, and resided in Belleville before moving to Nutley 50 years ago.  She was employed as a Suite Captain for the Meadowlands Sports Complex, East Rutherford, for many years before retiring, and was a member of Local #69.  Carol enjoyed her summer home in Bradley Beach, and her ministry of preaching the Good News of God’s Kingdom as a Pioneer as one of Jehovah Witnesses.

She is survived by her beloved sons Richard Quimby and his wife Christina, and Ralph Quimby and his wife Yovana; her loving sisters Judy Loreto and Linda Corazza and her husband Jack; and her cherished grandchildren Dominic, Ralph and Christopher.

Carol is predeceased by her husband Richard James Quimby, Jr. (2014).
