Beloved Mother and Grandmother, 85

Mrs. Carmen (nee Ruiz) Intindola, 85, of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, August 10 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.   There will be a funeral service celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.   

Carmen was born in Belleville, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Nutley.  She was secretary to the Nutley Chief of Police from 1979 to 2000 before retiring.  Carmen’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved children Pasquale Intindola, Jr., and Lenore Catania and her husband Guy; her cherished grandchildren Michael, Terrence, Shane, Cheyenne, Christopher and Ryan; her daughter-in-law Doreen Intindola; her brothers-in-law Matthew Pica and Nicholas Intindola and his wife Mary, and her sister-in-law Vivian Ballantyne.    She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Carmen is predeceased by her beloved husband Pasquale Intindola (2020), her son Michael Intindola (2019), and her sister Margarita Pica.
