Mrs. Carmela (nee Tomaselli) Auriemma, 92, of Bradley Beach, NJ, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.   Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, February 21 from 9:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m.  There will be a funeral mass celebrated at St. Lucy’s Church, Newark at 12:00 p.m.   The entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover.   

Mrs. Auriemma was born in Newark where she resided until moving to Bradley Beach in the late 1970’s.  She was a devout Catholic.  She was baptized, received all her sacraments, and was married at St. Lucy’s Church, Newark.  She also attended St. Lucy’s Grammar School.  Mrs. Auriemma dedicated herself entirely to her family, to St. Lucy’s Church and to St. Gerard.     

She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years Louis Auriemma, her devoted children Hope Savino and her husband Jerry and Arthur Auriemma and his wife Debbie; and her loving brother Anthony Tomaselli.

Mrs. Auriemma is predeceased by her siblings Joseph Tomaselli, Daniel Tomaselli, Salvatore Tomaselli, Vincent Tomaselli, Rocco Tomaselli, Michael Tomaselli, Caroline Medeiros, Geraldine Sydoriak, Rose D’Alessandro, Anna Picatello, Della Rea and Phyllis Scaldino.
