Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Aunt, 93

Mrs. Caridad (nee Velazquez) Sanchez, 93, of Nutley, NJ, formerly of Bloomfield, NJ and Newark, NJ, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge.  There will be a memorial visitation at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, August 20 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  There will be a memorial service celebrated at 6:30 p.m.  The inurnment will be at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ, on Saturday, August 21 at 9:15 a.m.

Mrs. Sanchez was born in Havana, Cuba and emigrated to Newark, NJ in 1959 before moving to Nutley 20 years ago.  She was a loving homemaker to her family.  

She is survived by her beloved daughter Maritza M. Sanchez-Sturgis and her husband Kevin; her cherished granddaughter Kristin C. Bender; and her surviving sister.  She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sanchez is predeceased by her husband Eulogio P. Sanchez (2013), and her three brothers.
