Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Uncle, 49

Mr. Brian Christopher DeMeo, 49, of Caldwell, NJ, departed our world on Sunday, August 16, 2020.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley on Friday, August 21 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at Notre Dame Church, 359 Central Ave, Caldwell on Saturday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m.  The cremation will be held privately.

Brian was born and raised in Belleville, NJ, and resided in Caldwell for the past ten years.  A beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, he was taken much too soon.

Brian leaves behind his beloved wife of 12 years Annette (nee Caraballo) DeMeo, their children Marchella and Valentina, along with his son Nicolo and daughters Gianna and Anabella.  He is also survived by his loving parents Virginia (nee Mirabile) and Richard DeMeo, his brothers Alfonse DeMeo and his wife Mary, and Jason DeMeo and his wife Kimberly, and also his mother-in-law Elaine Caraballo.  Uncle Brian will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Vincent, Kayla, Alfonse, Miranda, Sydney, Connor and Declan.

Anyone who knew Brian would describe him as someone full of life and laughter.  He always had a hearty, “How you doing, kid?” and a huge hug when he greeted you.  He loved to play poker and socialize with his friends. He was also an avid golfer and fisherman. 

Brian spent his career in the paper industry. Most recently he had been employed with Case Paper Co., in sales.  He was a graduate of Lincoln Technical School, Union.

Brian was a man who took great pride in his family.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children; they were his greatest accomplishment.  Although he was always hard at work, Brian managed to attend every sport, whether it was as a coach or on the sidelines, awards ceremonies, cheer completion, or any activity that all of his five children were involved in.
