 Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, 86

Mrs. Fernandez (nee Cepero) Fernandez, 86, of Randolph, NJ, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a Funeral Service celebrated on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. with father Ernie Rush officiating. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.  

Mrs. Fernandez was born in Bahia Honda, Cuba, and emigrated to Newark, NJ in 1966. She then moved to Florida where she resided for many years with her husband, before moving back to New Jersey to be with her family. Mrs. Fernandez was a loving homemaker to her family. She was a very kind person, who loved flowers, storytelling and cooking, but most of all she loved baking.

She is survived by her beloved children Ezequiel Fernandez and his wife Rosa, and Aurora Mateo and her husband Emiliano; her dear siblings Armando Cepero and his wife Consuelo and Maria Louisa Cruz and her husband Roberto; her caring grandchildren Angie Lavery and her husband Sean, Eric Fernandez and his wife Vanessa, Emil Mateo and his wife Jennifer and Chrystal Mateo; her cherished great grandchildren Benjamin Fernandez, Declan Lavery, Maxwell Fernandez, Caden Lavery, and Aaron Mateo. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Fernandez is predeceased by her beloved husband Ezequiel Fernandez (2015); and her parents Armando and Maria Louisa (nee Marrero) Cepero.
