Loving Husband and Father, 74

Arvind N. Patel, 74, of Woodland Park passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020. A Puja will be celebrated on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Biondi Funeral Home, 540 Franklin Ave, Nutley. Cremation will be held privately.

Arvind was born and raised in Naswadi, India until  emigrating to Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1973, before moving to Woodland Park, New Jersey in 1986. He studied at Gujarat University, Nadiad, India where he graduated with a Masters of Arts degree. He was employed for Forty Two years as an insurance agent at New York Life Insurance Company, Saddle Brook, where he was presented with many awards and achievements which included the "Tie-Coon" Award, the National Quality Award, the honorable designation as a Senior New York Life Insurance Company member, multiple Years of Service awards. He was praised for always demonstrating the company's values- humanity, integrity, and financial strength- when servicing his clients and community, truly helping to make New York Life "the company you keep". 

Arvind is survived by his beloved wife of forty four years, Joshtna Patel, his caring children Anjali Patel, and her husband Vatsal, Nita Patel, and Neil Patel; his dear siblings Pushpaben Patel, Indiraben Patel, Ajitbhai Patel, Vikasbhai Patel, Pravinbhai Patel, Hariharbhai Patel, Geetaben Mack; his cherished grandchildren Nikhil, and Karina Patel, and also his many loving nieces and nephews.

Arvind is predeceased by his loving parents Narharibhai and Kamalaben Patel, and his dear sister Dhanlaxmiben Patel.
