Arty was a proud graduate of Essex Catholic High School Newark class of 1970. He earned his B.A. in 1974 from Farleigh Dickison University at the Teaneck campus. Arty began his career in the financial services industry, working side by side with his Dad, Art Sr, for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Over the years, Art expanded his services, providing both financial advice and life insurance products to his many clients. He was responsible for managing a team of agents and advisors at different agencies over the years. He was always client-focused and prided himself on doing what was best for his clients and their families. Arty was known for treating his clients like family. Many of these business associates and clients of Art's became close friends because of his caring and kind treatment of all.
Arty will be remembered and never forgotten by those who loved him. He was a kind man and a true friend. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and Uncle. He woke up each day with a smile and true appreciation for life. His strength, passion, and hope were admired by all who loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife Michele (nee Rossi) Pellechio; his daughters Dr. Tracey Agnese and her husband Joseph, Carly Mulvey and her husband Matthew; his dearest brothers Anthony Pellechio, Richard Pellechio and his wife Susan; his cherished grandchildren Ella, Emily, Sylvie, and Sam. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
Arthur is predeceased by his parents, Arthur S. Pellechio Sr. and Jennie (nee Renga) Pellechio, and his brother Gene Pellechio.
