Beloved Brother, Uncle and Great-Uncle, 71

Mr. Anthony Masucci, 71 of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville surrounded by his loving family.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, August 16, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, August 17 at 9:30 a.m.  There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church (Cabrini Chapel), 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 10:30 a.m.  The entombment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union.

Anthony was born in Volturara Irpina, Avellino, Italy and emigrated to Newark, NJ in 1958 where he resided before moving to Bloomfield in 1976.  He was employed as a parks maintenance worker for the Essex County Parks Commission for many years before retiring.  He enjoyed watching his favorite T.V. shows, walking and socializing with people.  Everyone enjoyed Anthony’s company.   He loved spending time with his family, and especially loved his mother’s cooking.

He is survived by his beloved siblings Lucia Vazzano and her husband Richard, Michele Schmidt, Alfonso Masucci and his wife Janine, Michael Masucci and his wife Pam and Lisa Masucci.  He is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, and his great-nieces and great-nephews.

Anthony is predeceased by his parents Pompilio Masucci (2012) and Alfonsina (nee Meo) Masucci (3/23/23).
