Beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, 90

Mr. Anthony J. “Gary” Garamella, 90, of Lake Worth, FL, formerly of Belleville, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, January 22 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.   There will be a Funeral Service celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday, January 23 at 10:00 a.m.  The entombment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum with military honors.

Mr. Garamella was born in Belleville, NJ where he resided until moving to the Harbour Greens community in Lake Worth, FL in 1996.  He was owner of Garamella Trucking Co., Belleville for many years.  Later he was employed by Mack Transportation of Bloomfield as a Tractor Trailer Driver for many years before retiring, and was a member of Teamsters Local #408, Union, NJ.   He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force from 1946 through 1949. 

Mr. Garamella was a valued member of the Harbour Green HOA Board for almost 15 years.  Because of his love and passion for the community, Harbour Greens remains a premier community in which to live.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.  He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his beloved children Anthony (Gary, Jr.) and his wife Renee, Diana Luzzi and her husband Roger, Gina Garamella, and Gail Chirichella and her husband Tom; his loving companion Jeanne Coda; his dear brother Joe Garamella and his dear sister Susan Rossi; and also his six cherished grandchildren and seven precious great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his loving cousins Frank Bonanno and his wife Betty, and Joe Bonanno as well as his many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Garamella is predeceased by his wife Lucille (nee Restaino) Garamella (2010), his son Gary Patrick Garamella, his brothers Frank and Michael Garamella, and his sister Sara Hunter.
