Beloved Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather, 73

Mr. Albert E. Gardner, 73, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.  Because of current health advisories, a family service and cremation will be held privately.  A memorial service will be celebrated at a later date.

Mr. Gardner was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Belleville for the past 17 years. He retired in 2008 as Vice President of Diamondair Production Co., Morris Plains where he was employed for 40 years. Mr. Gardner served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He loved watching his grandsons play Nutley Hockey and was their #1 Fan.

Mr. Gardner is survived by his wife of 49 years Antoinette (nee Generazio) Gardner; his devoted daughter Lisa Schimmenti and her husband Ronald;; his loving siblings Daniel Gardner and his wife Janet, Billy Gardner and his wife Dawn, James Gardner, Beatrice Gabriel and her Husband Scott, and Betty Kanouse and her husband John; and his dear brother-in-law Jack Giampapa and his wife Sue; and his cherished grandsons Richie and Gerard LaFiura.  He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
