Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Friend

Mrs. Aida Solorzano (nee Coello), 82, of Newark, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Clara Maass Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. There will be a memorial visitation at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, May 27 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service beginning at 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Aida Solorzano was born in Quito, Ecuador and emigrated to Newark, NJ in 1965.  She worked as an assembler for Chase Chemical Company for 15 years before retiring, but most importantly, she is recognized for being kind and a caregiver to anyone who needed support and love.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years Jose Solorzano, Sr., her loving children Jose Solorzano, Jr. and his wife Ruthie, and her daughter, Janet Solorzano; her loving sister Clemencia Stummer; and her cherished grandchildren Baylee and Brielle.
