Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Sister, 94

Mrs. Rose (nee Calabrese) Carollo, 94, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge.   The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, March 1 at 8:00 a.m.  There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield at 9:00 a.m. The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.   Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 28 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.    

Mrs. Carollo was born in Newark and resided in Bloomfield for 57 years.  She was a loan officer for PNC Bank, Bloomfield for 25 years before retiring.  Mrs. Carollo was a member of the Lyndhurst Elks Emblem Club, the Tuesday and Friday Belleville Senior Citizens Club, and the B&B Entertainment Group.

She is survived by her beloved children Grayce Berk and her husband Edward, and Peter Carollo, Jr. and his wife Jacqueline; her cherished grandchildren Peter Berk and his wife Stephanie, Peter Carollo, III, Andreas Carollo, Marcus Carollo and Sophia Carollo; her precious great-grandsons Samuel and Zachary; and her loving siblings Nancy Pepe and Charles Calabrese.  

Mrs. Carollo is predeceased by her husband Peter Carollo, Sr. and her sister Clara Gerard.
