Beloved Husband, Brother, Father and Grandfather, 74
Mr. Robert A. Gingerelli, 74, of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. There will be a memorial visitation at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, April 26 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, April 27 at Grace Episcopal Church, 200 Highfield Lane, Nutley at 10:00 a.m. The inurnment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Bob was born in Newark, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Nutley. He was a 1962 graduate of Essex Catholic High School, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from William Paterson University. He was a member of the Nutley Third Half and of St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus Council #2346. Bob was an avid golfer and very proud of his four holes in one.
Bob began his working career as a school teacher in the Newark School System. He later decided to follow in the footsteps of his family, becoming an electrical contractor. He was the owner of Tremont Electric, Nutley, which later became Roberts Construction, Inc., for 35 years before retiring. Bob was also employed by the Townships of Summit, Longhill and Harding as an Electrical Sub-Code Official retiring after 25 years of dedicated service.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Elizabeth (nee Zito) Gingerelli; his devoted children Marc Gingerelli and his wife Charlotte, and their beautiful children Anna Lucia and Francesca Beall, Melissa Fischer and her husband John, and Andreanna Magnotti and her children Michael and Nicholas Ugliarolo; and also his loving brothers Richard Gingerelli and his wife Maryann, and Frank Gingerelli and his wife Janice.
He is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Katherine (nee Marese) Gingerelli.
