Beloved Brother, Uncle, Great-Uncle, 96

Mr. Richard J. Echo, 96, of Nutley, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019.  Visitation will be at the Biondi  Funeral  Home of  Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, October 15 from 9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.  There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 10:30 a.m.  The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  

Mr. Echo was born in Newark, NJ and was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate from Tri-State College, Indiana earning a Degree in Engineering.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.  He was a Building Inspector for the Board of Education in Newark for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his beloved brother, Philip Echo Jr. and his wife Marlene; his loving nephew and nieces Dr. Philip Echo, Jill, Tara, Dawn and Joyce Echo, and also his cherished great-nieces Andrea and Julia Echo.

Mr. Echo was predeceased by his brothers Daniel and Guido Echo; and his sister Carmella Echo
