Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Sister, 88

Mrs. Marie D. (nee DeZarlo) Alfano, 88, of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge.  There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, July 2 at 10:00 a.m.  The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.   Visitation will be on Sunday, July 1 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.    

Mrs. Alfano was born in Newark and was a lifetime resident of Nutley.  She was a printer for Thompson Printing, Belleville for many years before retiring.

She is survived by her beloved children Allen Alfano and his wife Barbara, Beverly Fiore and her husband Frank and Carol Krempa; her cherished grandchildren Michelle and her husband Roger, Jennifer and her husband Joseph, Allen and his wife Mireille, Paul and his fiancé` Stephanie, Marc and his wife Dana, Karen and her husband James, Steven and his wife Lisa, Thomas and Paige; her precious great-grandchildren Makayla, Willow, Lucas, Sophia and Jake; and her loving sisters Rose Cocco and Jean DeZarlo.  She is also survived by her dear friends Francine and Donna.

Mrs. Alfano is predeceased by her husband Allen D. Alfano, her granddaughter Kristen, and her son-in-law David Krempa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
