Beloved Father, Grandfather and Brother, 84
Mr. Luigi Caruso, 84, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his home of his daughter surrounded by his loving family. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, February 20 at 8:45 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Belleville at 10:00 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation will be on Monday, February 19 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Mr. Caruso was born in Modica, Sicily and emigrated to Lyndhurst, NJ in 1972 moving to Belleville in 1981. He was a welder for Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington for many years before retiring. Mr. Caruso was an avid soccer fan and fisherman.
He is survived by his beloved children, Grace Rodriguez and her husband Luis, and Rosa Perez and her husband Gerard; his cherished granddaughter Haylie Rodriguez; and his loving siblings Salvatore Caruso, Rosina Braffa and Teresa Rosa.
Mr. Caruso is predeceased by his wife Francesca (nee Di Lorenzo) Caruso, his brother Franco Caruso and his sister Maria Migliore.
