Beloved Aunt, 98

Mrs. Josephine (nee Rose) Vona, 98, of Nutley, NJ, formerly of Garfield, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Paramus Veteran Memorial Home.  There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, December 5 at 12:00 p.m.    Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. The interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.

Mrs. Vona was born in Garfield where she resided until moving to Nutley several years ago.  She was a seamstress for Saul & Son, Passaic for many years before retiring.

She is survived by her beloved niece Marie Gravine

Mrs. Vona is predeceased by her husband Salvatore Vona, her daughter Phyllis Sarna, and her brothers James and Dominick Rose.
