Beloved Mother and Aunt, 87

Mrs. Josephine (nee Hughes) Siemer, 87, of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Morris Hills Center, Morristown. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.  There will be funeral service celebrated at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Pam Bakal officiating.  The cremation will be held privately.    

Mrs. Siemer was born in Glasgow, Scotland and emigrated to Kearny, NJ in 1955 moving to Nutley in 1969.  She was a banquet waitress for the Marriot Glenpoint Hotel, Teaneck for many years retiring at age 63. 

She is survived by her beloved children Joseph Duffy and Lila Zimmerman and her loving companion Robert Bertoline.  She is also survived by her loving niece Effie Mason and her loving great-nephew Michael Matthews.

Mrs. Siemer was predeceased by her husband Raymond G. Siemer and her daughter Lisa Siemer.
