 Beloved Mother, Sister and Grandmother, 92

Mrs. Josephine (nee Palmisano) Salerno, 92, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, December 17 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday, December 18 at 8:15 a.m.  There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 9:30 a.m.  The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.   

Mrs. Salerno was born in Newark and resided in Belleville for 60 years. She was a member of Belleville Sr. Citizens Wednesday Club.  She was a homemaker to her loving family.   

She is survived by her beloved children Frank Salerno and his wife Karen, Rose Melillo and her husband Ronald, Joanne Costa and her husband Albert; her loving brother and sisters Anthony Palmisano, Nancy Prezioso, Katherine Palitto and also her cherished grandchildren Melissa, Steven, Matthew, Rebecca and Amanda.

Mrs. Salerno is predeceased by her husband Frank Salerno (2013) and her sister Theresa Lebeda.
