 Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Grandfather, 53

Mr. James W. Freitag, 53, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.  The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Saturday, December 29 at 8:45 a.m.  There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, Belleville at 10:00 a.m. The interment will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery,   Belleville.  Visitation will be on Friday, December 28 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Jim was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Belleville for the past 30 years.  He was a Master Plumber for the Wayne Board of Education.  He was a member of the Wayne Custodial Maintenance Association (WCMA).  Jim loved riding his motorcycle.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his cherished grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years Donna (nee Agliozzo) Freitag; his devoted children Seamus Freitag, and Brittany Bowles and her husband Rodney; his loving mother Irene Gilchrist; his loving siblings Kathleen Russo, Patricia Lind, Robert Freitag, Ellen Krenicki, Laurie Melillo, Daniel Freitag, Peggy Gooney, and Debra Freitag and their spouses. and also his cherished grandchildren Alex Bowles and Zayden Bowles.  He is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jim is predeceased by his father Robert Freitag.
