Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 73

Mrs. Gwendolyn G. (née Cote) Castles, 73, of Chatham, NJ, formerly of Bloomfield and Summit, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at her home.  There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.  The interment will be at St. Teresa Cemetery, Summit.  

Gwen was born in Newark, NJ, and resided in Bloomfield and Summit before moving to Chatham 15 years ago.  She was a loving homemaker to her family.  Gwen was a volunteer at the V.A. Health Care System of NJ.

She is survived by her beloved children Jerry Castles, and Dr. Kathleen Castles-Fonseca and her husband Alberto; her cherished grandchildren Nicole, Heather, Melissa, Stephanie and Angela; and also her beloved great-grandchildren.

Gwen is predeceased by her husband Gerald Castles and her son Gary A. Castles.
