 Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 90

Giuseppina (nee Molinaro) Fantina, 90, of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.   The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, May 15 at 9:00 a.m.  There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Lucy’s Church, Newark at 10:30 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.   Visitation will be on Monday, May 14 from 4:00 –8:00 p.m.    

Mrs. Fantina was born in Atripalda, Avelino, Italy.  She emigrated to Newark in 1956, and has resided in Nutley for the past 30 years.  She was a loving homemaker to her family.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Marisa Picciano and her husband Tony; her cherished grandchildren Anthony Picciano and his wife Patra, Laura Trillo and her husband Marcelino, and Robert Picciano and his wife Jessica; and her precious great-grandchildren Roman, Arianna, Adam and Emmeline.  She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Fantina is predeceased by her husband Carlo Fantina, her two brothers and five sisters.
