Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 90

Mrs. Geraldine (nee Cofone) Cerami, 90, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.  The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, March 5 at 9:15 a.m.  There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 10:30 a.m. The entombment will be at Glendale Chapel Mausoleum, Bloomfield.   Visitation will be on Monday, March 4 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.   

Mrs. Cerami was born in Nutley, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Belleville.  She was a proud homemaker to her loving family.  A skilled bookkeeper, Geri handled her family business finances into her 90th year.  She enjoyed needlepoint and crocheting, and loved baking, especially her Christmas cookies.

She is survived by her beloved children Charles Cerami, Anmarie Cerami and  Nick Cerami and his wife Joan.  She was the proud grandmother of Christa and her husband Paul, Marialisa and her husband Dennis, and Rocco and his wife Stephanie; and cherished great-grandmother (Mema) to Mina and Theo.

Mrs. Cerami is predeceased by her husband Rocco Cerami (2012), and her brothers Louis and Joseph Cofone.
