Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 100
Mrs. Frances B. (nee Banker) Willis, 100, of Bloomfield, NJ, formerly of Nutley, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Saturday, September 8 at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. The cremation will be held privately.
Mrs. Willis was born in Norwich, Connecticut and resided in Nutley for 32 years before moving to Bloomfield ten years ago. She was a loving homemaker to her family. Mrs. Willis was a volunteer at the Nutley Red Cross and was awarded the prestigious Clara Barton Award for Meritorious Service. She was a longtime member of Vincent United Methodist Church, Nutley.
She is survived by her beloved children Jayne Powell and her husband P.J., Susan Geib and Gail Willis; her loving brother Andrew Banker; her cherished grandchildren Robyn Powell, Kerry Bowes and her husband Raymond, Kevin Powell and his wife Wendy, Jennifer Cayanan and her husband Percy, and Eric Geib and his wife Bridgette; and also her precious great-grandchildren Ashley Goss and her husband Aaron, Megan Powell, Kyle Bowes, Alexandra and Margot Deutsch, Alexander and Emily Cayanan, and Jack and Caitlin Geib.
Mrs. Willis is predeceased by her husband Thomas Willis, her grandson Andrew Powell, her great-grandson Sean Geib, and her son-in-law Richard Geib.
