Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, 80

Mrs. Emily F. (nee Harrold) Fastook, 80, of Glen Ridge, NJ, formerly of Nutley, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.  Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, April 5 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.   Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Grace Episcopal Church, 200 Highfield Lane, Nutley on Saturday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m.  The cremation will be held privately.   

Mrs. Fastook was born and raised in Rutherford, NJ and resided in Nutley before moving to Glen Ridge 20 years ago.  She spent her career in Banking, and most recently was a Loan Officer for Proponent Federal Credit Union, Nutley for 12 years before retiring in 2000.  Mrs. Fastook enjoyed spending time with her family at her summer home in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years James F. Fastook; her devoted children Steve Fastook, Jr. and his wife Patty, and Laura Buchmann and her husband George; also her cherished grandchildren Jessica Rose Buchmann, Matthew Stevens Buchmann, Emily Ann Buchmann; and her loving step-grandchildren Brittany Radzik and Bryant Buchmann.  She is also survived by her beloved dog Penny.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Canterbury Village, 33 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052.
