 Beloved Father and Grandfather, 90

 

Mr. Benjamin V. Gerbino, 90, of Hazlet passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Regency Park Nursing Home, Hazlet.  The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Saturday, December 9 at 8:15 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 9:30 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington with military honors. Visitation will be on Friday, December 8 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.   

 

Mr. Gerbino was born in Jersey City, NJ and resided in Middletown before moving to Hazlet.  He worked in sales for his entire career before retiring in 1994.  Mr. Gerbino served honorably in the U.S. Marines during World War II.

 

He is survived by his beloved children Ann Marie Suta and her husband Robert, and Mike Gerbino and his wife Dawn; and his cherished grandchildren Michael, Kyle and Christopher.  He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.

 

Mr. Gerbino is predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years Marilyn (nee Meyn) Gerbino (8/17), his son Robert, and his brothers Anthony and Paul Gerbino.
