Beloved Father, Brother and Grandfather, 94
Mr. Anthony S. Moccio, 94, of Lodi, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at Holy Family Church, Nutley on Monday, February 25 at 10:30 a.m. The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington with military honors. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Sunday, February 24 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m
Mr. Moccio was born in the Ironbound section of Newark, NJ and resided in Lodi for the past 30 years. He was a supervisor at RCA, Harrison for 35 years. He later worked as a medical records clerk and shop stewart at the Jersey City Medical Center, Jersey City for eight years before retiring. Mr. Moccio served honorably in the U.S. Army, European Theatre, during World War II. He was also a Notary Public.
He is survived by his beloved children Michael Moccio and his wife Gloria, and Donna Cristelli and her husband Mario; his loving siblings Viola Corbo, Michael Moccio and Carmela Quinn; and his cherished grandchildren Mark Moccio, Meghan and Shawn Flavell.
Mr. Moccio is predeceased by his wife of 72 years, Anna (nee Petti) Moccio (2018), his brothers John, Rocco, and Sam Moccio, and his sisters Mary Mangino and Eleanor Hresko.
