Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Brother, 90
Mr. Antonio M. Castillo, 90, of Bloomfield, NJ passed away on Saturday, March 9, at his home. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue, on Thursday, March 14 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Friday, March 15 at 9:30 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley on Friday, March 15 at 10:30 a.m. The cremation will be held privately.
Antonio was born in Macara Loja, Ecuador and emigrated to Newark in 1983 before moving to Bloomfield in 1993. He was employed by Atlantic Metals in Springfield as an Industrial Painter for 20 years before retiring. Antonio was a fun-loving jokester and a neighborhood friendly guy. He took pleasure in staying updated with the news, remaining informed about current politics and sharing his knowledge with everyone. Antonio adored his family and he enjoyed traveling.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Delia Viera Castillo; his devoted children Carlos Castillo and his wife Adrienne, and Sandra Castillo; his cherished grandchilden Michelle Pereira and her husband Chris, Leona and Maxine Castillo; his precious great-grandchildren Michael and Vivian Pereira; his loving siblings Manuel Castillo and his wife Isabel, Luis Castillo and his wife Susan, Mariana Ineguez and her husband Manuel; and his dear sister-in-law Maria Castillo.
Antonio is predeceased by his parents Flavio and Deifilia (nee Toledo) Castillo, and his brother Angel Castillo.
